Houston-based energy trading veteran to lead ETRM product strategy as Quoreka grows its North American team
HOUSTON and LONDON, 20 October 2026 – Quoreka, the operating system for commodity-driven business, has appointed Justo Morales as Head of Energy Product as it increases its investment in the North American energy market.
Based in Houston, Justo will lead the product strategy for Quoreka’s energy trading and risk management (ETRM) platform and work closely with energy businesses across North America. The company also plans to expand its regional teams in product, implementation, sales and customer success.
Justo brings more than 30 years of experience across energy trading, risk management and commodity operations. He was most recently a consultant and senior business analyst at Castleton Commodities International, having previously held roles as director at Opportune LLP and senior business consultant at Bain & Company. He has also worked as an independent commodity trading and risk management (CTRM) adviser to firms in Singapore. His experience spans crude oil and refined products, power, gas and coal, including trading and scheduling, derivatives and front-, middle- and back-office operations.
“North America is a priority for our energy business, and we are investing in the technology and people to support customers in the region,” said Bruce Boytim, CEO of Quoreka. “Justo understands the operational and risk management challenges energy trading businesses face. His experience will help us develop our ETRM offering and expand our presence in this market.”
“Energy firms are trading across more commodities and markets, but many are still relying on systems that struggle to keep up,” said Justo Morales, Head of Energy Product at Quoreka. “I want to work closely with customers to understand how their needs are changing and help shape the next stage of Quoreka’s energy platform.”
Quoreka runs the entire commodity value chain, from CTRM and ETRM for trading and risk teams, to bulk handling, supply chain, stockyard and warehouse management for physical operations. Its platform supports multi-asset portfolios, cross-commodity strategies and physical supply chains that span continents.
