Dan Romanelli

SVP Business Development Dan Romanelli is the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Business Development at Quoreka, a global leader in commodity trading and risk management (CTRM) solutions. With over 25 years of international experience in financial technology, strategic consulting, and enterprise sales, Dan is responsible for driving global partnerships, shaping marketing strategy, and expanding Quoreka’s footprint in the CTRM space. Before joining Quoreka, Dan served as Global Head of Sales and Account Management at Bloomberg Broadway, where he led the commercial efforts for the Fixed Income EMS following Bloomberg’s acquisition of Broadway Technology. Earlier in his career, he held key leadership roles including Chief Strategy Officer at USAM Group Inc., Vice President at NYSE Euronext, and Managing Director at NYSE Technologies, with a focus on risk management, compliance, and trading infrastructure. His career also includes roles at Merrill Lynch, Delta Risk LLC, and PAX Clearing Corporation. Dan is widely recognised for his expertise in business development, customer relationship management, cybersecurity compliance, and go-to-market strategy. He has successfully led global teams, managed high-value customer relationships, and overseen the launch of innovative products and business initiatives across the fintech ecosystem. He also previously served as President of the Security Traders Association of Chicago. Based in the Chicago area, Dan holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry University. He further enhanced his leadership acumen through INSEAD’s Senior Leadership Programme.
